Chetek, the "City of Lakes"
Chetek, Wisconsin, is known as the "City of Lakes," centered around the Chetek Chain of Six Lakes: Chetek, Prairie, Pokegama, Ojaski (Mud), Moose Ear, and Tenmile. Spanning about 3,800 acres with over 120 miles of shoreline, the area is a premier destination for boating and fishing.
Chetek Lakes Fishing Map + Fish-O-Rama
The Chetek Fish-O-Rama is a long-running, season-long fishing contest in Chetek, Wisconsin, where local lakes are stocked with hundreds of tagged panfish (bluegills and crappies) worth varying cash rewards. The event runs from the May fishing opener through early October. Catching one can win you anywhere from $25 to $1,000. Uncaught fish from previous years are generally worth $5 to $25.
